They are a ripoff. I was contacted by them in the Spring. I had just been laid-off from work. I went to a few meetings and bought into what they could do. I paid my $4,000 (money back guarantee) and hoped for the best. They assured me it would not take long and they would work with me to the end. At first it was great. I would come up to their offices and visit with them. We revised my resume, planned what companies I would go for and we developed letters for me to write. I did everything I was told to do. Nothing happened.
After six months I had only one interview throught them. Nothing else. Not even a follow-up meeting with the firm they connected me with.
Now I can not even get anyone from BIO to return my phone calls. I am always put into voice mail and nothing happens. No return phone calls even.
I have been had that is for sure.
I have learned from my mistakes. The one thing I did get was a new resume format that for the most part has been useful. I have also learned how to handle cold-calling and try to arrange meetings. I have been more successful that way than through them. So, maybe it was not a total loss, but I am still nowhere.
