On Thursday 12/30 I saw a $9.00 charge on my VISA card placed there by a company I never heard of before. I went to GOOGLE.com and did a search and found this site and a few others. The sites that I clicked onto all had negative things to say about WLI*RESERVATIONREW.By the way "WLI*RESERVATIONREW" is how the billing appeared on my VISA account.
I just spent a morning trying to figure out what was going on with WLI Reservation...
I first called Wachovia Bank, the bank that issued the credit card who transferred me to an 800 number for WLI...
WLI informed me that they got my information, name, address, email address and credit card information from a company in Southern Florida called TigerDirect (TigerDirect.com). I have used Tiger Direct to buy computer related items online over the years.
I called Tiger Direct at their 800 number, initially told that there was no one from management available to speak to, but by insisting finally a manager was put on the phone. William, the manager, informed me that they do no know who "WLI Reservation" is and that they would contact their attorney to see what can be done about this.
In the mean time I suggest that anyone having this problem contact the bank that issued the credit card and order a stop payment for this and dispute any charges WLI... Has placed on your card. I would then suggest that you write a letter to the FTC (online site gives address), the Attorneys General in your state and the state where WLI does business from and register a complaint. If you check GOOGLE.com search engine you'll find a Better Business Site that has numerous complaints listed, add your letter to the list.
