I went to Beltone for a hearing aid appointmentas I do have some hearing loss. Jason done the test, and said that their was a choice of two the cheaper one's was 4999.00 which would be the best for my loss. Jason did a contract up. Isaid well I need a couple days to talk this over with my wife. Jason said if I walked out that I would never be back. He began the high pressure sales pitch. I felt at that time my only way out was to sign his contract and give him a deposit of 500.00 and that is what I did. The next morning at nine o'clock I decided that I wasn't going to go through with this deal I called the office to cancel and was told that Jason wasn't in and that he would be in at 10am, but had an appointment at that time and would not be able to meet with me until 26th which I felt was along delay for me to cancel. I went to the bank to stop payment on the check and to my suprise and the bankers the check had already been cashed. I went back home and waited for his call which I had requested with his secretary Nancy to call me when he got in, About 3:30 I called and was able to get to Jason and again he put the high pressure sales on me and finally he understood that I wanted to cancel, but it would cost me 425.00 to do so. I feel that this is poor business practice on the part of Beltone and there representatives. The hearing test was suppose to be free as that is what they advertise. Being that I am not going to receive there aids Iam willing to pay for the test. (which I had offered and was informed by Jason that there was no way that he could seperate his time?) So at this point I feel that he needs to refund my money and come up with some better business practice's, If you can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Sincerely waiting for you reply.
