An unauthorized debit card charge of $9.60 USD showed up on my online banking history. I called the number listed on the charge 407-459-7751 for sportactgoods.com and a recording of a woman's voice with a heavy foreign accent said to hold for a representative. I held for a few minutes and it said no one is available at this time, please call again at another time or visit the website. My bank issued a fraud investigation but no confidence in this going anywhere. My mother had the same thing happen with this exact so-called "store" this past summer and never got her charges refunded. How is this possible that these criminals continue to get by with this?!!?! I do not understand. Thank God it was nothing huge but still... It's stealing! I wish I knew of a way to protect myself against this. Very careful with making online charges and only use reputable vendors.
