If you are even remotely thinking about working for this company run the other way!
I have no personal vendetta against this company (I should have been smarter and blame myself). I just want to warn other hard working people out there looking for a job like myself to stay clear.
This is a very well run "work from home" ripoff scam. They have been in business in Gilbert, Arizona for over 15 years. Their claim to fame is that they have had employee's working there since inception, however they are family and friends working in the office and not the transcriptionists.
First you have to pay $550 for a "license fee" and sign a contract that you will work there for 3 months or you have to pay another $250 if you quit (the $250 is supposedly for the 3 days of training). It is hard to believe that this could even be legal.
No matter how fast of a typist, no matter how good of a speller, it is virtually impossible to make more than approximately $5.00 per hour. This is because many of the audios are so garbled or the people speaking have heavy accents or the people are talking over each other, etc.
I worked for this company for three months and went in the hole. Please beware!
