For Christmas 2 years ago, i was given the HP Touch Notebook Model No. 1. It is worth over $1000. It was supposed to have 500 GB but only had 222 GB of usable space.

Recently we had it upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. The first time the tech guy installed it, i got it back with 136 GB which was what i had left on there when i gave it to them the first time.

Nothing worked on my laptop. When i turned it on it was trying to boot the Windows 7 disk and i realized that the tech guy had neglected to remove the disc prior to returning it to me.

Nothing was compatible with windows 7 and the touch screen didn't work, nor did any of the side buttons on the screen, so we sent it back.

We explained what had happened and the other tech guy assured us that the person who upgraded the laptop had checked the system to make sure that everything was working as it should. I was told that any of the problems that occurred were all my fault, that i had done something to mess it up.

We had to pay for them to fix the mistake that they had made themselves. When i got the laptop back the second time, the first thing i saw was a gouge in the side of the screen that wasn't there before. When i turned it on, everything seemed in working order until i started to look closer.

I was left with only 95 GB on my hard drive this time and more than half of the software that was supposed to be on it was missing. I didn't even have a word document. I had the code for office 2007 on the bottom of the laptop and it wasn't loaded into the laptop.

Barely any of the HP products that are supposed to be on the laptop were there, i can no longer do school work on my laptop and send it to a school computer because i now am stuck with Open Office.org and it doesn't really work as well as i would have hoped.

I had a 2.0 usb port and now almost every time i plug anything into it i get a message saying that this product would work faster on a 2.0 port. The tech guy really messed up and i know if i go back and complain they're probably gonna blame it on me and take my money.

They ruined the best Christmas present i ever got, cheated us out of hundreds of dollars and wont tell us if we have an extended warranty for our product, which they would have on file, supposedly.
