To make this short and simple
-Bought a new cell phone one month ago
-Learned I could send recieve text messages
-Went to yahoo.com/mobile and signed up for some alerts
-Found out I had to pay for all those little messages
-Went back to yahoo and deleted the alerts
-STILL got the alerts
-Went back and deleted my phone address from the yahoo account, thinking if yahoo didnt have my address it wouldnt send my more messages (all of the above things happend with in the first week of having the phone)
-Two days ago, after not getting any messages for 3 weeks, I end up getting my inbox FILLED with messages from yahoo alerts. So i go back to yahoo to see if my number was still deleted and it is. For about 3 days now i have recieved over 100 messages and i cant even tune my phone on without being bombbarded with messages.
This to me is SPAM at its worse, something for which I literaly have to pay for. And after sending an email to the [email protected] i get an automated message saying they will look into the issue and to not expect a personal responce. If anyone know of a way to get ahold of a live person, please let me know.
