For all of the desperate unemployed individuals (like myself) out there that are looking for any job that sounds appealing... Stay away from Google Profit Club.
I found out about this "great" thing via craigslist.com. There was this gentleman looking for an assistant, he was swamped with the Google Profit Club and needing some assistance. He has a nice little blog explaining his success story... He went on and on, and I was like WOW, I need to do something like this, and then I was sucked in
Well, like your mother/father once told you, "If something sounds to good to be true, it usually is." They charged my card $3.95 to get started. I had a sick little feeling as I started entering my card number, but then I thought to myself... There is no way I AM getting scammed. So, I proceeded... Almost 5 days I went to check my bank account... Magically I have another $75 coming out of my account from Google Profit Club, a charge I DID NOT authorize.
I canceled my card immediately. I have to wait until the charge goes completely through before I can dispute it. Is there anyone out there that was successful at disputing this type of issue? I would be curious to know and how long it took before there was a resolution.
