I fell for this misinformation/deceptive marketing ploy. I sent away for their "$1.00" information. It was only when I looked more closely at the fine print the following week that I discovered they were really selling a monthly service.
I called to cancel "with no additional charges" and was told that I was calling on the 7th day and therefore my card had already been charged.
THIS month, I find 2 NEW charges on that same credit card that I have no idea what they are for, tho' I have a strong suspicion they are related to IP.
I fault our government regulators and judiciary for allowing internet scams to proliferate. I would sooner release druggies from prisons to make room for such low-lifes. At least the druggies are victims of their own weakness; people who purposely set out to rip others off deserve no compassion.
