I am presently looking for work and on of the places that was suggested to me was "craigslist", so I started looking and the posting on craigslist is "administrative assistant/customer cares/receptionist" so I "applied" with my resume and a few hours later someone emailed me about the position. They asked me for my name, address, phone #, which I found strange considering the fact that I sent my resume in with my information on it. I wanted to know more about "boom tech computers" so I tried to look them up on different search engines like google, yahoo and msn and came up with nothing which I found strange, weird and suspicious! Then I took a chance and looked on "ask.com" and bingo!"rip off/scam artist!
They don't have my personal information like my bank accounts and things of that sort, and I am so blessed that I caught on to this before I gave up any of my personal information, but I wanted other people to be aware of this, because of how the economy is, people like myself are losing their jobs and looking for jobs via "craigslist etc. And these jerks are praying on people to get their personal information and do God knows with it and I am so glad that I had common sense to be suspicious and find out that this was too good to be true!
