Before I signed up with Survey Scout, I did read some negative reports all over the net, However, Survey Scout 'guarantees' a refund if not 100% satisfied. So I signed up and paid their fee through PayPal.
They had a lot of survey companies available. HOWEVER, when I registered with a few of them, I only seemed to qualify for a very small percentage of the surveys The companies only pay 50 cents per survey and not the $20-$30 they promised. It would literally take me forever just to make my money back that I paid for Survey Scout (which was over $40)
So, I submitted a ticket to Survey Scout requesting a refund for the reasons stated above. The next day Survey Scout responded back and asked if there was anything they could do to resolve any issues and keep me as a member.
I responded back and told them No, and restated my reason to cancel.
They didn't responded again. I submitted a request for a response every day for almost a week, politely asking them to respond and refund my money as per their guarantee. Still no response...
Then, After their 8 week money back guarantee was over, i promptly received an email saying "I'm sorry, Our refund policy is no longer valid for your account"
Since I paid through PayPal, I then submitted a buyers dispute.
For the reasons above paypal didn't issue me with a refund either.
So, I would recommend to anyone that is looking to earn cash online to go with a verified company that actually lives up to it's promises like surveyvault.co.uk I consider myself lucky that i found such a website and i've been using that ever since. For any readers wanting to sign up to survey scout, i would strongly recommend you not doing so.
