Preys on members of social networking and dating sites. Claims to be in love and sends provocative pictures. Then, after saying was in a Western country, says went on assignment to Nigeria at a charitable organization for children who have heart problems. Then after more professions of love and a desire to come and be with the person (possible victim) forever, yada yada, sends a donation request for "Deez Heart Foundation" with a phony US address. Neither the US address nor the Nigeria address checked out on any of the mapping engines (Google, Yahoo, Mapquest), as valid. Sample email:
"Hi sweetie! I didn't have the courage to approach you in person, so I hope you consider my letter. I have so much inside my heart that it keeps me from breathing sometimes. I know we just met but these feelings that I have for you keep glowing and growing every day. Now that am not with you, I sleep thinking about you and the next morning I wake up smiling.
It's amazing how you got me and trapped me. I never thought I could love this much but I was so wrong. I just thank God for having you. We are meant for each other and no one can change that. I love you with ALL my heart."
Also does IM on Yahoo, same as email. I realized the scam immediately and when I heard the word NIGERIA, I was convinced.
