My husband got suckered into this supposedly good plan for educational material for a monthly fee. He never was able to log on to the site where the services were supposed to be aquired. After almost a month of frustration, We wanted our money back. No one returned calls. No one mentored. However money mentor kept on billing our bank account until we demanded them to halt all payment. Which they finally did after 3 payments. Some money was sent back to our account, but not all.
I believe now there was never really any product there at all. They just took our money just like any other scheme out there.
A little advice:
Beware of any internet money making opportunity. Research and see if there are any complaints.
Ask any company you are willing to give your hard earned or borrowed money to, if they will give you names and numbers of real people who are still in business. Research these people, look them up on Dun and Bradstreet, the yellow pages, Rippoff Report, BBB, or with their local court house to see if indeed they are legit. Call them, ask if they are happy or have advice. Sometimes you can go visit them and see for yourself. You may decide the opportunity is for you or it is not.
More than likely, if there is a tangible product or service, there is a higher chance for success if there is a good market for it.
If a product or service sounds too good to be true, (research and get facts first) it usually is.
Our economy right now is in crisis, the last thing we all need is to be swindled. I hope the governments can bring justice to all these internet and telemarketing scammers.
If time is money, then they have cost us a fortune just for having to sort and listen, research, and delete them from our caller id and emails! I've got better things to do than to waste my time and money on them and so does the rest of the world.
If they can come up with creative ways to scam people, then surely they can come up with a good way to have a legit business plan and actually make money honestly.
