I was so excited when I came across this website, "Tales of the Gold Monkey" and "Ellery Queen" where now in my grasp. I placed my order using my credit card, and then NOTHING. As stated on their website, "after payment has been made, you will recieve an email with a refence number, this way you can track the delivery of your order"!! I did not recieve this email. I have recieved no discs, no responses to my emails, or live chat and their phone number is always busy!!! (So Jan from South Africa, even if someone in the States had of made a call on your behalf, they would not have got through either) Business must be good, I thought to myself, if I cannot get a response from this mob.
I then put the whole incident behind me, REALLY BAD JUDGEMENT on my side.
Then lo and behold, I find another website almost exactly the same, selling the same merchandise, the only difference between these sites is 'Billy Bob Thornton' is on the TVAddicts page, and 'Donkey' from Shrek is on the other site, although the name escapes me, found on Google.
I recieved my credit card statement yesterday, and there it was, the credit charge for my undelivered purchases, the grand sum of $276.11 which equates to $314.76 in Australian dollars. Well, was'nt my husband impressed, NOT! I will now be in contact with my bank putting a stop to any further transactions that this RIPOFF company may make in the future, hope i'm in time.
