Pacific Webworks/eAuctions/Tradeworks Defrauds Again! Never trust them

On 9/7 I ordered a "FREE" eBay auction kit for $4.95 shipping, to a merchant "TRADEWORKS.com TEL8014280500 UT" which I'd never heard of. Site purchased from was https://secure. Visualwebtools.com/eAuction/eb_21_31907/payment.html

They never shipped me anything. I see now, reading all the posts below, that they never do.

No shipment, no access to anything, no emails or other communication of any kind whatsoever, and on 9/21 "they" charged my card $39.95, only now the merchant was "FW/EAUCTION/801-578-90 SALT LAKE CTY UT" & I could at least recognize the "EAUCTION" as the source of the surprise charge.

I called them and, as with you other fraud victims, they claimed they'd shipped the kit and that I still owed the 39.95 because it was in the fine print buried under the glaring promises of the mythical "FREE!" kit I wasted 4.95 on "shipping" for.

Confusing, to be charged by two different merchants, when I only made a deal with one, and that one failed to perform its side of the bargain, i.E., send the kit in 2-3 days, or at ALL.

So, as I said, I called them (having to hunt for their number since it was not communicated to me) but they refused to reverse the charge.

So far I've filed with the Utah BBB, of which they are actually a member! And my case # is 22046739. Now I just have to file with the Federal Consumer Protection Agency and the Utah Attorney General's office, and then I can sue them in small claims court here in Minnesota. Of course I'll dispute the charge as well.

These scum make me sick. Let's all not slink away. File charges. Numbers will kill them. It's happened before on this site. I was one of the World Trade Association (& other alibis) victims who pushed for years till we got the feds to shut them down and arrest the kingpin, though he made a point of blowing all the money in vegas before getting arrested. At least they wouldn't let him post bond! So he's rotting in jail! Here's to you too Pacific Webworks! Rot in jail—just wait your turn.
