I ordered two books on an informercial by Kevin Trudeau that were free if I paid for shipping and handling. The subject of the books were natural cures for most medical conditions. The cost was going to be $19.90, and during the phone call I was inudated with four other sales pitches to make me spend more money, including a monthly newsletter.
I opted for only the two books. I was told my order would arrive in 4-6 weeks. I googled Kevin Trudeau that night and was appalled at his poor reputation. He has been in jail and is presently being investigated by the FTC, larceny and fraud are also connected to him.
I called customer support the next day to cancel my order. I do not want to read anything that this man is selling. The company stated that my order is already on the shipping dock and cannot be cancelled.
I have numerous e-mails from ITVcorporate.com showing no signs of wanting to please me the consumer, or maybe bending a little to give me customer satisfaction.
I was forced to change my bankcard in fear of them extracting more money for a monthly newsletter. I'm refusing to accept the books when they arrive, and will spread the word to whomever I can for this atrocity.
