I went for an evaluation for Invisiline braces. I paid two payments - one thousand dollars the first time and one more payment of the same amount. I should have run for the hills when the assistant told me to write the check to Dental Implant Center. His query - "what, you want me to go to jail?"
He decided without discussing with me the contraindications of using a dental tool to bore away some of the enamel from between my teeth— he said it would make it easier for me to floss. Well, the gums pulled away from my teeth and worsened a mild case of periodontitis.
No invisilines for me. But, a year later, I am charged over 4,000 dollars for a procedure I never had. I requested records from the dentist's office, so I will see what will happen now. My advise, do NOT go to the Dental Implant Center for treatment.
