This company is riddled with liars, rude CSRs & people willing to modify orders committing credit card fraud. I placed an order on 10/16, called as per the instructions in the e-mail confirmation and in that phone call was advised the lens I ordered was out of stock & another better one was available. I decided to go ahead with that order against my better judgement but the card I had on me was expired. The salesman was supposed to call back in an hour to get the new number but did not. Overnight I had time to research the lens I was told about & decided it was cheap both in value & in quality so I got back online 10/17 & reordered (new order #) the original lens with a different credit card. When I received the confirmation e-mail, the other lens was on the confirmation at $400 more than the lens I ordered. I called my card company to make sure the charge wouldn't be processed & together we called Digital Depot. After a lengthy, rude discussion we were told they would make the order right by sending what I originally ordered with free shipping, a 3 piece lens kit and 5 year warranty. Today following up with them, I was advised they can refuse service to anyone - they are not going to make good on their word - & they hung up on me. For the record, the lens that was supposedly out of stock was included in a blast sales e-mail on Sat. 10/21 as an in stock item on sale for 10% off.
