Glad to Know I'm Not Alone, Still Doesn't Make Me Feel Better!

I had to reduce my hours to go to school which reduced my pay. On top of that, I needed to pay the school and extra $109.00 a month, which really hit me hard.
I wasn't able to make the minimum payment to American Express and they turned me over to GC Services (balance $5127.00).

I had convinced myself that once I was out of school (Dec) things would get better and I could catch up. ALL of my other cards were willing to work with me, accepting $40.00 a month for 6 months, etc... Not GC Services.
I was informed by a Mr. James Hedrick, that they would rather me go bankrupt than to take my $50.00 a month. He wanted, at first, at least half the balance for a "good-face" payment. I didn't have it and they told me to apply for loans and ask family. I'm in better shape than my family and the loans were denied because of GC Services (I'm current with everyone but them, because they wouldn't take what I could give them).

Then he said he could take $1000.000 to ask my boss for a loan. I did that and my boss was going to loan it until we started going over the paperwork. He saw what was going on because he wasn't the one being intimdated and harassed on the phone, my supervisor heard many of our conversations and she couldn't figure out why I didn't just hang up on him.

I had recieved a letter that said to indicate at the bottom how much I could pay a month and begin sending in the payments. I was told by Mr. Hedrick that he would rather sue me than accept my $50 a month.
He actually told me to sell my car walk the 12 miles to my job!!! With some financial advise from my peers, my boss and a lawyer I was told not to pay, to declare bankruptcy. It's my only option now and they won't get anything because I'm insolvent - nothing to liquidate or take away from me. I don't own my car (finance), I don't own a home (rent) and I don't have jewlery or a cool sterio... Nothing.

My debt was accrued trying to live. So, Mr. Hedrick, I will be going backrupt and you jackasses won't get one red dime from me!!!
These people are crooks and EVERYONE should know it...
