Young adults pan handling in front of grocery store selling magazine subscriptions po box 204

Complaint / review text:
Im walking to the grocery store and i see several young men loitering in front of the store. One of the young men approaches me and starts talking about how hes in a program for young adults that helps them improve thier speaking abilities and helps them pursue careers in public announcing such as radio and television. Well he goes on to say that hes selling magazine subscriptions and the more he sells the more points he gets and then hes was to be rewarded by getting to travel. Hes got some worn flyers and phamplets with different magazines to select.

I choose dirt rider magazine and he says oh yes thats a good one and im even in an article in that magazine. I should have known right there it was a scam. But i buy the one year subscription for 38 bucks. Im thinking this kid well get some good public speaking training and get a job. Well almost four months later... No magazine!!! The check was cashed along time ago. And i do recall him making some comment about me wanting to give him a check. I do think he preferred cash. I go to the wed site and it no longer exist. Theres no phone number on my receipt. Theres only a po box.

I do wish there was some way to get back at these theives! I thought i was giving to a charity.
