Received a phone message today from a CAMCO representative saying it was concerning my social security number. She called me by my maiden name which changed MANY years ago so red flags went up. Checking the internet for the phone number I was led to usacomplaints.com. WOW!
So I called her back and said before we started i was legally obligated to inform her that the phone call was being taped. I then asked her to verify the address I had found on usacomplaints.com. She said she wasn't sure about the address and would check. She supposedly "put me on hold" but actually disconnected me. Short and sweet. I can't imagine WHY they don't want to be taped but it seems to work. Good luck.
