It saddens me that I am here. JS&A is, after all, an "A-" rated BBB company recommended by a local college. Yet, again sadly, I am here.
The main reason for my post/complaint is that I have noticed that Mr. Silny himself (apparently) posts the rebuttals here, and that gives me hope for my case. My wife was born in Cuba and relocated here (thank God) around 4 years ago.
She studied in Cuba (both at the polytech in Havana and at the University of Havana) to become a laboratory technician. She was even previously employed at a Govt facility in Havana working with vaccines.
Now, long story short, she escaped here (legally, I might add) and wants to continue her career. She speaks perfect english and is currently employed at a local Medical Center (Hospital) in the Pharmacy.
The problem seems to be that, according to JS&A, her training in Cuba only equates to "High School Technical Training". Okay, no biggie there. She enrolls in a local college and needs her transcripts. The problem is that her case manager at JS&A apparently can't seem to find the time to put them in the mail tray (or whatever they use there).
She (my wife) has contacted her handler at JS&A on numerous occasions over the past 2 weeks and has been told (in order): I will put them in the mail tomorrow, I will send them first thing Monday, the person handling your case isn't here, but I will make sure she sends them first thing tomorrow, she said she would send them first thing tomorrow, I thought she had already sent them, etc.
Now, I am a patient man (I did, in fact, marry a Cubana), but even my patience has its' limits. Mr. Silny, if you are in fact reading these, if you could take time out of your day to contact Ms. Cruz (who is handling my wife's evaluation) and have her send the transcripts. I guarantee you she knows to whom I am referring, so there should be no issue.
We are willing to ignore the inaccurate evaluation. We are even willing to ignore the fact that the previous evaluation did not require the items that are being asked for now. All we want is the unofficial evaluation and the transcripts returned.

To those others reading this: find out from people in your area which are the best evaluators to use. Don't just trust the first company suggested at the college or university by the counselor.
