When the company my husband and I worked for 32 years moved manufacturing to China this year we thought we were in luck when Robert Allen provided a free seminar to buy real estate for zero down. They gave a very inspiring meeting telling all who attended how we could buy real estate with no money and make a great living helping other people who were facing forclosure and help others who could not afford a down payment. This sounded like a great "job", helping people and making money.
They talked us into spending our severance pay to pay for mastery classes. They promised "are you dumb enough to be rich?" and how easy it would be. We spent over $19,000 for classes and had to fly to other states to get some of the training. Two classes were cancelled and we had to choose different classes. Our field training was constantly post poned. They never teach you enough to be succesful. We have not met anyone at these classes who has made money the "Robert Allen" way. Everyone says they just are pressured into buying more classes. When you try to talk to customer service, they tell you to listen to more calls and make more offers. The calls are very vauge and they try to sell you something else. No one is just going to "give" you their house.
I don't know anyone who could keep from thinking this is a scam. When they tell you to call at least 5 sellers a day to get them to give you their house. It really gets depressing calling sellers daily and hearing no's or having people hang up on you or asking why you are tryng to cheat them. The "Robert Allen" way is trying to cheat people out of their homes.
We still have no job and owe $15,000 more for classes we can't get to. We don't have any money to fly to other states for classes. They refuse to cancel our contract. I don't see how this company can stay in business when they steal the last dollar from desperate people. Robert Allen says he is an honest church going man. He teaches giving back, when you make your millions. He is nothing more than a snake oil sales man. He gets people excited and hopeful that they can make a good living helping other people buying and selling real estate. He makes his money stealing from the poor. We are completely broke, out of work, lost our house, lost our car are about to be evicted and have two kids to feed. He still wants us to pay him $15,000 for worthless classes we can not use.
How can someone like this call themselves "enlightened", "honest" and "ethical". They give you 5 binders and cd's in each binder and say it is worth $5000. They charge $6000 for each class.
I hope I can help other people by telling them not waste their money on these worthless classes and cd's. We have learned the hard way. We have lost all of our severance pay and may soon be homeless because of this evil man and his dishonest company.
