I read today an article What Values Are You Willing to Defend? By Fay A. Klingler and something snapped and decide to take action.
It is said. To take appropriate action in recovering from betrayal, you must know what is important to you. More than just what you believe in, you must know what values you are willing to firmly defend. Begin by defining your beliefs and values. Then determine what you want from the relationship.
As Mahatma Gandhi said, We must be the change we wish to see. Making that change, however, does not come about without plan or effort, and in the process, you might need to accept some new things about yourself. These new ideas or self-concepts can be formulated by creating a Bill of Rights for yourself. Keep in mind that these personal rights are based on respect for self, not selfishness.in other words, these rights do not infringe on the rights of others. Over the years, I have found Dr. Bunny Vreeland nice and appeared honest. Then I found out after spending so, much money on her program. I am more lost upset then ever. Someone did an investigation for me and I was shocked: based on the claims she tells her clients and on her website:
See her school where she received her PHD in Clinical Hypnotherapy state's Huntington Pacific University is fully accredited by the World Association of Universities and Colleges (WAUC). And a troubling statement of HPU has chosen not to pursue accreditation from regional and/or programmatic agencies associated with the U.S. Department of Education. Note-The World Association of Universities and Colleges, WAUC, is an institutional accrediting body not recognized by the United States Department of Education. It is run by Maxine Asher, director of the American World University, an unaccredited school. WAUC's website claims that "laws in the U.S.A. Prohibit the recognition of global accreditation associations."
Currently, WAUC lists 21 accredited schools, three schools with accreditation in progress, and 26 "members only" schools.in January Asher offered "new universities who wish to become member or accredited members of WAUC" a special rate of $100 USD.
If you are uncertain about the legitmacy of the school that granted your potential therapist's degree, see if it is listed on the DOE's Office of Postsecondary Educations's website: http://ope. Ed. Gov/accreditation/Search.Asp.
I checked Huntington Pacific University did not show up.
I expect the unmasking of. Bunny Vreeland's, Diplomate in Psychotherapy and Certified Hypnotherapist, will make some people very, very angry. I hope they will find it within the purview of their anger to demand serious changes in the credentialing process employed by these associations
