The numerous reports and commentary on Refael "Raf Diaz and his business prevented me from wasting my time, energy and effort in pursuing a career at Pro-Marketing Group. Find below a copy of my letter declining to interview.
The Recruiting Team
Pro-Marketing Group
Unfortunately, I must respectfully decline your offer to interview. As I am sure you are aware the description (shown below) in your offer for preliminary interview for the Account Executive position is at the very least vague but in my opinion misleading.
" The Pro-Marketing Group is a Marketing and Promotions firm. We work with an array of Fortune 500 companies (i.E., EBay, Bell South, Staples/Quill, UPS, Visa/MasterCard, etc.). Our company implements a concept known as Direct Marketing: the practice of dispersing promotional messages directly to a market niche on an individual basis as opposed to through a mass medium."
Conceptually your description implies a new approach requiring some degree of education and professionalism. I am however very disappointed to learn during my search on your company "Direct Marketing" is nothing more than door to door sales, paid at a straight commission rate of 28%. Based on these facts I am not interested in pursuing a career with Pro-Marketing Group and request that you remove my resume from your files.
Thank You for your Consideration
