I was contacted via phone by a Nation Wide Grant representative. Said I had been approved for a $12,500 grant. Since I have been filling out and sending grant requests to a legitimate grant company, I assumed this was on the up and up. They stated that their charge was $298. After talking with ligetimate company customer service I was told that they had not sent my application to Nation Wide Grant. I was contacted again by NWG to verify the date they would withdraw the money. I told them that I was not interested in their service and that I would not authorize this transaction. One week later the money was withdrawn from my account. I called NWG and was ensured the money would be returned in one week. The money was not returned. I have tried calling several times but only reach their voice mail. No one will return my calls. Also, the paperwork was never sent to me either.
