Ripoff Lies to Make Sales and Then Never Returns Calls

On October 17, a sales rep from Wholesale Marketer named Brandon Childs called me. He said that his company was offering a one-time offer of 15 months of service for $225. I told him that after looking at their website, I was not certain that they carried the products I wanted. He asked me what I wanted and I gave him the names of two manufacturers I was seeking (Chris Christensen and #1 All Systems). He told me several times in our conversation that they did carry products from these manufacturers. Of course, I wouldn't be able to see for myself unless I gave them my credit card number or debit card, but he assured me several times that I would find the products I wanted and that if I was not satisfied, he would personally take responsibility for refunding my money.

I eventually said okay, and signed up, then immediately went to my computer and accessed my account and looked at the product listings. There were NO products by the manufacturers I had said I wanted and very few products of the type I told Brandon several times I wanted. I called him back and told him of my findings. He again told me that they had the products I wanted and that I just didn't know how to use the tools yet. He told me that the online search was not accurate — that in order to see the inventory of all of the warehouses, I needed to download their databases. I did this and went through each inventory list, line-by-line. The products I wanted were not listed in any list. Furthermore, there were very few products in the category I wanted (dog grooming and supplies). The only things I could find were a dog first aid kit and a few shampoos and other products from a company I'd never heard of. Oh yes, there was a prairie dog catcher. I had made it very clear to Brandon what type of products I wanted and even given him specific names of product manufacturers. The fact is that he lied to me to make a sale.

My complaint doesn't stop there. Since I did not finish going through all of the inventories until very late, I called Brandon several times the next day (October 18) and repeatedly got his voice mail. Finally, I reached another account manager named Alea (pronounced "Ah - Lee — Ah). I asked if Brandon was in the office. At first, she said yes, then after trying to connect me to him, she said no, he was off on Tuesdays. She asked if she could help me. I told her about the problem and she said that she would handle my refund, but would like to talk to Brandon first. She said that she then would become my account manager and that I could expect a call from her or Brandon the next day (October 19).

On Wednesday, October 19, I never received a phone call from anyone at Wholesale Marketer.

On Thursday, October 20, I called Brandon and Alea several times, always getting their voice mail, before finally reaching Brandon. He said that he had to go to a meeting that was starting right then and would call me back after the meeting. Although I hadn't given him my phone number in this conversation, he told it to me and asked me to confirm that it was correct, which it was. I never heard from Brandon or anyone else at Wholesale Marketer the rest of the day.

On Friday, October 21, I called Brandon several times. The first time I called him, he answered his phone. As soon as I spoke, he hung up the phone. The next three times I called his number, he would pick it up and then hang it up immediately. After that, he started letting the calls go into his voice mail. Alea was not answering her phone either.

Brandon Childs lied to me to get me to buy a membership in his company, and this appears to be standard operating procedure for the entire company. No one will take my call or work to resolve this. They've taken my $225 and I'm left with no product. Wholesale Marketer is nothing but a scam. If you want to sell out-of-date electronics, overstocks of out-of-fashion clothing, off-brand items, etc., this company has it all! If you want to work with a reputable company — stay away from Wholesale Marketer. They literally take your money and run!
