Hello. I recieved a sweepstakes entry form from Sweepstakes Clearinghouse. I sent it to them through the mail. About a week after I sent the entry form, I recieved information about great deals on different products I could buy below wholesale price. I decided to put a stereo on layaway and make monthly payments on it. So I've been sending ten dollars a month since August of last year.
So far I've paid $81.00 on the stereo. On the fifteenth of January this year, I decided to get a gift for my girlfreind. I chose to get A necklace and earring set with Sweepstakes Clearinghouse. The brochure that has the picture and description of it says it's genuine diamonds. They say the pendant on the necklace has a 1 point diamond in it.
They say both of the earrings also have a 1 point diamond in them. I paid $23.00 for it. I recieved in the mail today. I looked at it and saw a $23.00 peice of junk. What they call a diamond was a small peice of round silver and shiney metal with small cuts in it like a diamond would have in it. The pendant on the necklace wasn't attached to the necklace.
When I tried to put the pendant on the chain, the small piece of metal fell off of it.
So all together between the stereo and necklace, I'm out $104.00.
I want to get all of my money back from them and stop making monthly payments to them.
THANK YOU. P.S.-Please tell me how I should get my money back.
