I ordered and paid for 2 vanities on May 23 from anywherefurniture.com. They were to ship in July. After no reply to daily voicemails and emails for over 2 weeks in August, they responded they did not have the furniture.
I requested a refund; they wanted a copy of my driver's license and want to keep over $500 as a cancellation fee! If they have the merchandise I paid for, I want it. If it is still not available, WHY would they charge me a cancellation fee and want a copy of my driver's license?
Does company "exist"?? Does he scan in pictures of merchandise, collect money he sits on for 6 months, then refund a portion of your money and get a copy of your driver's license? All phone calls go to a voicemailbox - is this his cellphone?
Hmmmm, I feel violated and ripped off.
