I am a Homeowner that recently had Peppard Plumbing's contractors in my home replacing plumbing. Several days after work commenced I become aware of piece of furniture with significant damage. This furniture is located directly in the path that the contractor's appeared to have been walking leading to a shelf had been removed and leaned up against the dresser that is located beside the damaged furniture.
I immediately brought this to the attention of Peppard Plumbing. After leaving several messages over a period of 10 days and receiving no response I then sent a letter regarding the matter and requested that the appropriate person contact me by phone or arrange to meet in person to discuss reconciliation of this matter.
Finally, a letter is received stating that Peppard Plumbing questioned all employees involved in working in that area and they firmly insist they are not responsible. Further, Peppard Plumbing is not accepting responsibility. Without any authority visually inspecting the furniture and speaking with Homeowner to gather information their decision was not to assume any responsibility. No compensation for negligence and no discussion.
