The Wellness Company

The Wellness Company sells supplements, emergency medication kits, prescription products, telehealth visits and memberships through twc.health; its Terms name The Wellness Company Inc. as operator, while Florida registry and court filings name TWC 2022 Inc. This page gives the company's own cancellation and refund terms first, then the record as displayed on October 11, 2026: BBB (not accredited, 242 complaints in three years, a 2024 advertising review), Trustpilot, a pending trademark suit, a Proposition 65 lawsuit and what searches returned.

The Wellness Company problems: cancel a membership, stop a charge, get a refund, escalate (checked October 11, 2026)

Start with the company's own channel. The Contact page says customer-service issues go to [email protected] or 1 (800) 758-1584; the FAQ gives hours of Monday to Friday 8 AM to 8 PM EST and Saturday 11 AM to 4 PM EST. Telehealth questions go through care.twc.health. Keep order numbers, the date of any cancellation and screenshots of the account page.

Memberships and subscriptions (company's own terms). The Refund and Cancellation Policy (updated July 2025) says: "Annual memberships are a year-long commitment and cannot be refunded if canceled. Cancellations will take effect at the next scheduled renewal date. Monthly memberships and subscriptions may be canceled at any time, with cancellation effective at the next renewal. No partial refunds will be issued for canceled memberships or subscriptions." It says to manage them in the "Account" section of the website. A separate FAQ answer says that a customer who "canceled your membership through the membership dashboard but were still charged a monthly membership fee" is "eligible for a refund of those charges" and should contact Customer Service. The two pages are presented side by side because they are worded differently.

Physical products and kits. The policy says supplement and other product sales "are final" and returns cannot be accepted; refunds "may be issued at the company's discretion and are subject to a $15 service fee"; product quality issues must be reported within 30 days of delivery; refunds are not issued for supplements or emergency kits after 30 days from the date of purchase. Missing or damaged kit contents must be reported within 30 calendar days of receipt. A kit order can be cancelled "at any time before submitting the medical intake form"; after the form is submitted "cancellations are no longer possible", and a $50 processing fee may apply if a customer declines to speak with the provider.

An older refund text on the Terms page. The Terms and Conditions page (last updated June 21, 2023) still carries its own embedded "Refund & Cancellation Policy" marked "Updated: November 27, 2023", with different windows from the July 2025 policy above. It says a customer who cancels an Emergency Kit order before submitting the intake form is "entitled to a refund of the full purchase price minus a $50 service fee"; that once an order "has been sent to the pharmacy, there will be no cancellations or refunds of the order"; that kit issues must be reported "within thirty (30) calendar days from the day of receipt" and, separately, "within 30 days of kit prescription date"; and that product quality or damage complaints "must be reported to customer service within one (1) week of the delivery date". The two policy texts are on live company pages at the same time; neither is treated here as the controlling one, so quote the version that matches the date of your order when you write to support.

Telehealth appointments. Appointments can be cancelled up to 24 hours ahead; within 24 hours or for no-shows the policy says a $30 fee applies. It also says refunds "will not be issued for disagreements with the provider's decisions" and that replenishment consultation fees are non-refundable. The Terms say authorized providers "are contracted through Locemtele P.C."; that name may help when a complaint concerns a prescription or a telehealth visit.

If the company does not resolve it. Dispute the charge with the card issuer, file a complaint with the BBB (the BBB profile has a Submit a Complaint link), and report to the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov and to the Florida Attorney General. For a suspected adverse reaction to a prescription medicine, tell the prescriber and report to FDA MedWatch.

Regulator, advertising and Proposition 65 matters: what was and was not found (checked October 11, 2026)

BBB advertising review. The BBB profile states that on 10/11/2024 BBB "asked the business to substantiate" six advertising claims (for the Spike Support, Restful Sleep, Shine series oral probiotic, Healthy Heart, Daily Z-Stack and Bison Liver products) and "found that these claims were in violation of the BBB Code of Advertising". The profile adds that the business "has failed to voluntarily substantiate these claims". This is a BBB self-regulatory finding, not a government action; the company's response, if any, was not shown on the page.

California Proposition 65 notice and lawsuit (private enforcer). The California Attorney General's Proposition 65 notice database lists notice 2026-03038, filed 06/26/2026 by Environmental Research Center, Inc. (attorney Lozeau Drury LLP), naming "TWC 2022 Inc., individually and dba The Wellness Company" as the alleged violator. The notice lists lead, perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and four products: The Wellness Farms Origin Series Bison Trifecta, The Wellness Farms Origin Series Bison Liver Regenerative Freeze-Dried Liver, The Wellness Company Shield Hot Cocoa, and The Wellness Company Origin Series Natural Bee Pollen Pure Bee Pollen Granules. The same page lists a civil complaint filed 09/08/2026 in Alameda County Superior Court (Hayward), docket 26CV209336, "Failure to Warn", seeking a warning, civil penalty and injunctive and declaratory relief. This is a notice and lawsuit brought by a private party; the presence of the chemicals and the exposure levels are that party's allegations, not findings by the Attorney General or a court, and no ruling, settlement or company response was shown on the listing on October 11, 2026.

FDA, FTC and other searches (scoped). On October 11, 2026 the FDA warning-letters database (page marked "Content current as of 10/06/2026") returned 0 entries for each of the searches "TWC 2022", "twc.health", "Plaza Real" and "The Wellness Company"; an unquoted search for "wellness company" returned 11 entries, and the ten on the first page named other companies. The FTC cases and proceedings search for "Wellness Company" returned "No results found for these filters." A search of Health Canada's recalls and safety alerts site for "Wellness Company" returned "No results found" (archived records not included). No state attorney general enforcement action was identified in the sources checked; individual state attorney general sites other than the California Proposition 65 listing above were not searched. These are scoped statements, not conclusions that none exists.

Third-party claims. Some websites describe lawsuits and "regulatory scrutiny" involving the company without docket numbers or agency documents; they are not repeated here. The court dockets that were found are in the litigation section.

Court cases found in public dockets (checked October 11, 2026)

Three court matters naming the company were found on October 11, 2026. Each is described only as far as the docket or listing states; a lawsuit is an allegation, not a finding.

  • Melaleuca, Inc. v. TWC 2022, Inc. (D. Idaho 4:25-cv-00379): filed July 11, 2025; the docket lists the cause as "15:44 Trademark Infringement" and nature of suit "840 Trademark". The summons names the defendant "TWC 2022, INC., D/B/A THE WELLNESS COMPANY" at 433 Plaza Real, Boca Raton. The docket showed no termination, and its latest entry seen was a pro hac vice appearance on July 15, 2026. The text of the complaint was not reviewed.
  • Edwards v. The Wellness Company (S.D. Fla. 9:25-cv-81453): filed November 21, 2025; nature of suit "442 Civil Rights: Jobs". The docket lists a motion to dismiss and an order on it on March 4, 2026, answers, a notice of settlement on June 15, 2026, a stipulation of dismissal on June 29, 2026 and an order dismissing and closing the case on June 30, 2026. The settlement terms are not on the docket. The docket names the defendant "THE WELLNESS COMPANY" and does not state the legal entity.
  • Environmental Research Center, Inc. v. TWC 2022 Inc. (Alameda County Superior Court, 26CV209336): the Proposition 65 failure-to-warn complaint described in the regulator section, filed September 8, 2026.

Other dockets that mention "the Wellness Company" only in their text were not treated as cases against this company.

What The Wellness Company is and who operates it

Operator and legal entity. The Terms and Conditions say the twc.health website and app are "operated by The Wellness Company Inc." ("TWC") and give 433 Plaza Real, Suite 275, Boca Raton, FL 33432. The Florida Division of Corporations (Sunbiz) lists a Foreign Profit Corporation named TWC 2022 INC., Document Number F24000004221, filed 08/09/2024, state DE, status ACTIVE on October 11, 2026, with Peter Gillooly shown as President, Secretary and Treasurer and Foster Coulson as Director. The summons in the Melaleuca trademark suit and the Proposition 65 complaint both name "TWC 2022, Inc." doing business as The Wellness Company, and the complaint calls it "a Delaware corporation". The Terms page does not explain the difference between the name it uses and the registered name. The Delaware registry itself was not opened in this review.

Addresses. The Terms and the BBB profile give 433 Plaza Real, Suite 275, Boca Raton. The Florida record lists a principal address of 416 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 ("Changed: 08/17/2026") and a mailing and registered-agent address at 7901 4th St N, Suite 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702; this page reports the registry entries and does not state that the company moved. The BBB profile displays the entity type Limited Liability Company (LLC) and, per BBB's raw page data, a business start and incorporation date of 2022-06-08; BBB's label and the Florida corporation record differ, and both are presented as displayed.

Website and name. The company's store is at twc.health. On October 11, 2026 the domain thewellnesscompany.com returned a parked page stating "This domain may be for sale", so searches for the company should use twc.health. The phrase "The Wellness Company" also appears in older archive posts on this site as a tagline of Melaleuca, Inc., a separate company that is the plaintiff in a trademark-infringement suit against TWC 2022 Inc. filed in 2025 (docket open on 2026-10-11; see the litigation section); those posts are not about this company.

What it sells. The homepage lists supplements (for example the "Ultimate Spike Detox" at $80.99), a "Medical Emergency Kit" ($299.99), prescription products such as "Ivermectin + Mebendazole" ($539.99) and "Tirzepatide" ($349.99), skincare, 1Wellness memberships and telehealth appointments (prices as listed on October 11, 2026 and subject to change). The FAQ gives $74.99 per visit for non-member appointments. The Terms say authorized providers "are independent contractors" and "NOT employees" of the company, and that ivermectin prescriptions are "compounded by our partnered pharmacy located in Miami, Florida".

People. The Leadership page lists Foster Coulson as Founder and Chairman, Peter Gillooly as Chief Executive Officer, and a "Chief Medical Board" whose first-named member is Peter McCullough, MD, MPH, Chief Scientific Officer. The company markets products connected to COVID-19 vaccine and ivermectin topics that are contested in public debate; this page does not assess medical claims, and a disclaimer repeated on the company's site pages (for example the Terms, Contact and Leadership pages) says supplement statements "have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration".

Complaint record: BBB, Trustpilot and our own archive (as displayed on October 11, 2026)

BBB (as displayed on 2026-10-11). The BBB profile for The Wellness Company, Boca Raton, is not BBB Accredited and shows the rating "Not Rated", with the reason that "the business is in the process of responding to previously closed complaints". It shows 242 total complaints in the last 3 years and 92 filed in the last 12 months, and 3.36 out of 5 from an average of 374 customer reviews. BBB's raw page data gives file opened 2023-04-24 and business started 2022-06-08. Excerpts of reviews on the profile describe difficulty cancelling a membership and delayed shipment of kits; they are individual accounts and BBB does not verify them. BBB notes that complaint volume should be read against company size.

The page for twc.health shows 3.5 from 1,254 reviews, with 974 reviews in the last 12 months, a claimed profile, replies to 76 percent of negative reviews, and notices that there is "no recent history of asking for reviews" and that reviews "may not be representative". Our archive. No approved complaint on usacomplaints.com was linked to The Wellness Company as of October 11, 2026. Posts that use the phrase in their titles concern Melaleuca, Inc. (see the litigation section) and were not linked.

BBB and Trustpilot figures come from different review systems and are not added together or compared with each other.

Is The Wellness Company Legitimate?

The Wellness Company brand sells through twc.health. Florida's corporate registry lists TWC 2022 Inc., a Delaware corporation registered as a foreign profit corporation (document number F24000004221, status Active on October 11, 2026), and a court summons and a California Proposition 65 complaint describe that company as doing business as The Wellness Company; the site's Terms name "The Wellness Company Inc." at 433 Plaza Real, Suite 275, Boca Raton, FL 33432, and the company publishes a phone number, an email address, a refund policy and Terms and Conditions. Its BBB profile (not accredited, rating shown as Not Rated) lists 242 complaints in three years and a BBB advertising review dated 10/11/2024 that says six product claims were not substantiated; Trustpilot shows 3.5 from 1,254 reviews. Two court matters were pending on the dockets seen on October 11, 2026: a trademark-infringement suit filed by Melaleuca, Inc. in 2025 and a Proposition 65 failure-to-warn suit filed in September 2026 by Environmental Research Center, Inc.; both are allegations. A third, an employment suit, was dismissed on June 30, 2026 after a notice of settlement. Searches of the FDA warning-letters database and the FTC cases search on that date returned no entries naming the company. This page does not give the company a score or verdict.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I cancel a The Wellness Company membership or subscription?

The Refund and Cancellation Policy (updated July 2025) says monthly memberships and subscriptions "may be canceled at any time, with cancellation effective at the next renewal" and to manage them in the "Account" section of the website. Annual memberships are described as "a year-long commitment" that "cannot be refunded if canceled". Support is at [email protected] or 1 (800) 758-1584.

What if I was charged after cancelling?

The company's FAQ says a customer who cancelled through the membership dashboard or by contacting Customer Service but was still charged a monthly fee is "eligible for a refund of those charges" and should contact Customer Service during business hours. The Refund Policy separately says no partial refunds are issued for cancelled memberships. Both are on the company's site; keep dated evidence of the cancellation and dispute the charge with the card issuer if there is no resolution.

What is The Wellness Company's refund policy for supplements and kits?

The policy says supplement and other physical-product sales "are final", refunds "may be issued at the company's discretion and are subject to a $15 service fee", quality issues must be reported within 30 days of delivery, and no refunds are issued for supplements or emergency kits after 30 days from purchase. Missing or damaged kit items must be reported within 30 calendar days of receipt.

Can I cancel a Medical Emergency Kit order?

The policy says a kit order can be cancelled "at any time before submitting the medical intake form"; after submission "cancellations are no longer possible". It adds that a $50 processing fee may apply if the customer declines to speak with the provider or interferes with the prescription process, and that a provider may call within 2-3 business days to verify information. The embedded Terms-page refund text (updated November 27, 2023) words this differently: a refund of the full purchase price minus a $50 service fee before the intake form, and no cancellations or refunds once an order has been sent to the pharmacy.

What does BBB show for The Wellness Company?

As displayed on October 11, 2026, the BBB profile for The Wellness Company, Boca Raton, is not BBB Accredited, shows the rating "Not Rated", lists 242 complaints in the last 3 years (92 in the last 12 months) and 3.36 out of 5 from an average of 374 customer reviews. What does Trustpilot show for The Wellness Company?

The page is marked as a claimed profile; the company's replies reached 76 percent of negative reviews, typically within two weeks. Trustpilot adds that reviews may not be representative because the company has not recently invited customers to review.

Has a regulator or court taken action against The Wellness Company?

Searches of the FDA warning-letters database and the FTC cases and proceedings list on October 11, 2026 returned no entries naming the company. A private enforcer, Environmental Research Center, Inc., filed a Proposition 65 notice (AG number 2026-03038, 06/26/2026) and a failure-to-warn complaint (Alameda County 26CV209336, 09/08/2026) naming TWC 2022 Inc. dba The Wellness Company; these are allegations, not findings. Melaleuca, Inc. filed a trademark-infringement suit against TWC 2022, Inc. in D. Idaho in 2025, pending on the docket seen that day. BBB, a self-regulatory body, recorded an advertising review dated 10/11/2024 about six product claims.

Where can I complain about The Wellness Company?

Start with [email protected] or 1 (800) 758-1584. Outside the company, a complaint can be filed on the BBB profile, reported to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov or to the Florida Attorney General, and adverse drug reactions can be reported to FDA MedWatch.
