Hello concerned consumers
I hope this information helps someone. I decided that I wanted to upgrade my Nissan Sentra to a Nissan Rogue. I applied online to complete lending source. I read someone it is better to have your loan upfront before you go to the dealer. I didn't have the greatest credit so I went with a company that said they can help. They called me and told me I was approved for financing for 27,000. I immediately ask them what were the terms. They said I could go to any dealership I wanted to purchase a car. However, they told me I have to meet with the loan officer and Manassas, VA. That is let an hour away from my house. So at first I wasn't going to do it, but I went along with it. May not be to bad I thought.
I finally get to Manassas and I got to the street and I only saw dealerships on that street. So I immediately contacted the CLS and they said their office was inside Kia Motors. I thought this is unusual. Then she said that I would finalize the loan with the loan officer. But then she said and then she would show me a list of cars. Wait a minute, I thought you said I could go to any dealership I wanted. She said you can you have the option of purchasing there or going to another dealership within six months. I said okay seem kind of wierd. So sales guys immediately in the dealership started taking down my information like I was buying a car from them. Mind you the loan officer never came out to see me. So I am really upset now. So two sales people came over and said what they can do for me today. I thought I was going to meet with the loan officer, finalize my deal, and then go purchase my car. She said oh no you have to get a car here. I said that is not what Complete Lending Source told me.
So the sales guy was very rude and said so you are not going to purchase a car from us and I said no. He immediately walked away like I was nothing. Very poor practice. I called back to CLS to find out what was going on. Now mind you the rep I was working with said she would be there until 5pm that day and to call back if I had questions. I called back at 2pm that claim she was gone for the day. Poor business practices. The whole story changes and they tell me I had to purchase a car there. Please don't get snowed by these people they are doing people wrong and they need to be stopped. Dont be a victim of complete lending source. They cannot be trusted. I hope this information helps someone.
