Don't let encompass/mr. Ray R. BULLY AND MISREPRESENT YOU as I feel they had done to me!!! Look for a more professional insurance company.
I have been an CNA/Encompass customer since 1998, insuring my three homes and two vehicles. I was recently the victim of a person stealing my mint condition BMW 735il. This company that I have patronized for over a decade, placed my claim in the hands of Mr. Ray R. Mr. R. And Encompass, spent a month gathering information (I could have performed the same in two days if I knew the status of my claim), ran me through my policy's responsibility for rental car fees up to 30 days, and then waited till the last minute to let me know that they were going to offer less than any other sold model of car that I owned, mostly with much more miles, and substantially more than MY insurer would honor.in my opinion (and the opinion of others on this site), Mr. R. And his organization are trying to bully me into a settlement that is substantially below any of the comparable sales that I was able to research. Furthermore, Mr. R.informed me that I could hire an appraiser (money I do not have, as I am a disabled American) to compare values and re-adjust my case. I was told that I would have to pay between $300-$800 to do so, and I am wondering why this company that I have patronized for so long, with no claims earned in the past, would try to take advantage of a long-standing client, and try to rip me off (in my opinion). I sincerely hope you think twice before getting a policy with this company.
