This company installed a Kenne Bell supercharger on our 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra in September.2 weeks after that, the engine blew. They said it had something to do with the oil pan and it wasn't their fault and didn't have anything to do with their previous work. They said they would have to rebuild the engine and their estimation was $5300. This typically would only take a few weeks.
My boyfriend went by the shop a few times, the car was just sitting there untouched, eventually he paid the $5300 up front (by mid November) and went by every couple weeks and the engine was in the engine shop, then something else. Basically excuse after excuse why the car wasn't done. After a couple months I started calling and emailing, they wouldn't return my calls or emails, they would only talk to my boyfriend when he went by there, even though we both own the vehicle.
Finally he started going by the shop every other day to every day. This has been since December. They finally returned the car today (Feb. 10) after they have had it since the beginning of October.4 mos. For an engine rebuild???
The problem is now that the warranty is thru them, so if anything goes wrong, we have to take it back to them, but that is NOT going to happen. Don't take your car to this place and don't prepay for anything!!! And don't let them sit on it!!!
