I attended MTC in Hazelwood Mo in 2007. I was first off, given the wrong date to arrive though my bus ticket was correct, and waited at the airport to be picked up for 3 hrs. It did not get much better.
They put me in a hotel, and the place was in poor shape, mold and dirty.
The food was terrible and cheap, welfare recipients get better housing and food for the money. The equiptment was far from DOT regulations, as I was sent to test in a semi that had bald front tires, and were recaps.
The trainning was far from excellent, I had a total of 3 days of driving, which was split between 3 other students. Yes, I got my CDL from this school, but there is more.
I did not recieve my Certificate of completion and Swift fired me before I got hired, because they put wrong information to contact me in their data base. When I called MTC, they were rude and did not hold up to their promise of getting me a job. This is a poor institution to rape people to learn to get a CDL and be put in job placement.
The food was subpar, the living condidions were unhealthy.
The trainning overall was not what the industry needs and if you go to get your CDL, I hope that you go elsewhere to get your trainning.
I have not and refuse to pay MTC, they have not held up to their end of the agreement, same old story, it has to be true if the stories match!
