LESTER GARAGE aka VALLEY RADIATOR from Caldwell, Idaho has hidden or parted out our 1954 Ford and will not make contact after our numerous attempts to contact him. We have had contact from another guy in the area that this company has done the same thing to as well.
I was contacted by one of Mark Lester's friends that came to me asking if I had time to work on any new website projects. I said yes and he then further explained that his friend (Mark Lester) was interested in getting a website designed for his auto repair business. I gave Mark's friend my contact information and about 2 weeks later Mark Lester contacted me via telephone to discuss his website needs and he was interested in a trade deal. He was to work on my 1954 Ford Mainline and I was to work on his website.
Mark Lester and Myself then entered into the verbal contract to trade my webdesign services for his auto repair services. The intial agreemant was to have motor mounts welded and our 302 motor mounted and wired (just to hear the motor turn over) Well, to make a very long story short, after we did everything we could do with the all the information/photos he provided (hardly anything), he decided that he had a buddy (from an airplane racing team that he wanted to join) that would do the work and he wanted to be PAID for the work done to our car.
Apparently the time & work we did and the numerous drives over to his place was worth nothing. Well, after several attempts to contact him with no return calls, etc. We drove over to his place and he said that he had no longer had our car on his property.
He has been and IS very invasive and ignores our several attempts to contact him. He has never provided an invoice of what he thinks we owe him. He will not even tell us a monetary amount. He has done this before and he will do this again if he isn't stopped.
We filed a BBB complaint and his response was filled with nothing but lies, and slander. He has been very unprofessional.
