I was an ex-employee at this restraint and was "promised" many things. I always went in to work when I was not schedule to work, I always went in when they were short a person, I always went in when they needed an opener (arrive at the restraint at am), and I always went in practically anytime of the day (even in hazard condition. (I lived 15 minutes outside of the city limits).
When it came down to when I was so sick, that I could literally not get out of bed, they fired me. I even explain to the store manager that I was too sick to do anything, and when I was talking to her, I got sick later on that day. The management at Mcdonalds of Hiawatha are cold hearted people who only care for themselves and their "favorites" which includes their relatives and friends. To everyone else, they are their dogs. They always complain of the over time that I put in. I did everything in my powers to get a promotion and/or get a pay raise. I started out at $6.00 and hour and ended up with $6.25 an hour. I worked there for a year and a half.
I called the regional office, and they did not care at all, only they said talk to the owner operator of the restraint.
If anyone is wanting to work at McDonalds at Hiawatha Kansas, I would look at my options first before entering the terror of this restraint environment for a job..
