Owner abuses wait staff

Henny Penny's restaurant at 4995 Petaluma Blvd N., Petaluma, CA (707) 763-0459 has a manager/owner that abuses his wait staff. As a customer I entered the restaurant, and ordered food with my husband. I was disgusted to see the owner yelling at his head waitress and even slapping her in front of all of the customers in the restaurant. When he saw us staring at him he explained that this was only a game that he played with this woman and that they were only joking, as he swore that he would fire her that instant.

It seems to me that she was only doing her job, serving customers. Then when my husband complained about the noise he said that he didn't care! I was there for lunch on Saturday, January 27. I was afraid to eat my sandwich when I learned the character of the owner.

Who knows how long the meat had sat around, and what types of health violations may be going on there! I told the waitress that she should leave and sue the owner (her manager) immediately, but the poor thing seemed hesitant to do so.
