Clinton Brooks, the owner of Mortgages Unlimited, paid Mark One Appraisers to faslify the appraisel report for the property on Hull in Detroit, Michigan. Mark One is also a Travel Agency and a real estate company that Clinton uses when he goes on vacation.

The Mortgage Papers has my old address on it that I haven't lived at for a year, and my new address is on my Michigan State Identifcatation Card. Plus I changed my address with the U.S. Post Office. Why would I put any other address on any application. They also have the City of Highland Park as the city that the house is located in. It's not. Flagstar Bank, the Mortgage Company, that Mortgages Unlimited sold the loan to, doesn't have my address because Clinton put the incorrect address on the papers. Yet I gave him the correct one.

Rhonde LaGarde currently residing at 18401 Warrington, Detroit, Michigan 48221 is the seller of the house. Rhonde bought the house for $16,000. She had some doors and windows installed, rather poorly I might add. The doors have to be replaced because they are the wrong size. The windows... They all have to come out because none of the wood frames were replaced.

Yet Mark One appraised it stating there was no evidence of functional obsolencence and all systems appear to be in working order. Plus a fenced back yard and Normal physical depreciation observed. $90,000 was the estimated apprasial value.

Clinton then made my loan application look alot better than it should. I was told by an employee of his, named Tamie, that I had $50,000 in a retirement account. I don't. I had $50.00 in my bank account at the most. He went and bought a cashier's check from Bank One for the downpayment on the house (in my name) I have never had that kind of money to put down on a house or anything else.

I bank at Navy Federal Credit Union, and have for the last 4 years. I have NEVER used a Bank One nor been to a bank one.

But that is where his bank account was. But I was told that he changed banks since then.

Then he proceeded to sell the loan to Flagstar Bank. Well to my understanding of 18 United States Code Section 1014: Whoever Knowingly makes any false statement or report... For the purpose of influencing in any way the action of... Any institution the accounts of which are insured by the Federal Deposit Incurance Corporation, the Office of Thrift Supervision, any Federal home loan bank, the Federal Housing Finance Board, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Resolution Trust Corporation, the Farm Credit System Insurance Corporation, or the National Credit Union Administration Board... Upon any application... Or loan... Shall be fined not more than $1,000, 000 or inprisoned not more than 30 years or both. I hope he gets both!

Rhonde told my domestic partner, Michelle, that she received no where near the $90,000 that the paperwork states that she should have received. She only got the fee she charges to to sell the house.

I also found out that I was supposed to provide insurance papers for the house at closing and I did not. I also called the insurance company that is on my paperwork, I don't have a policy number.

Statefarm is the Insurance Company. I spoke with Adam at Home office in the fire department. The phone number is 269-789-5000. He told me that they don't have a policy for me nor do they have one on the house and never have. They would not provide me with a letter stating that because they said it's trying to prove a negative.

When I talked to the title company they told me that they didn't do anything wrong by saying that I had State Farm insurance and not checking to see if there was a policy. Plus they only need a policy if the lender requires one. Flag Star does require one.

The house was also sold under a Warranty Deed. From Michelle's investigation into this matter, I have found out that means the house is ready to move in. Well it is in no way ready to move in. Plus Clinton has had someone entering the house to try to mask the damage to the house so that I can't say anything about it. Yet I have pictures and I have since then informed the police to watch the house. Plus I have changed the locks again.

This entire deal was constructed by Clinton Brooks. He told me that the only way that Flagstar would approve this loan from him was if the first two payments were made up front, and he would pay them. With him doing that I would not be entitled to the $8,000 that he told me I would get back from the purchase of this house. I would only get $6,400. I have not received any money. Nor has the loan broker on this deal. (Marcus)

That $6,400 was to put carpet in and to paint the walls of the house. "That is all the house needs!" says Clinton. He seen the house too.

Yet not even three days later when I told him that I wanted out of the deal he said "no." He also said, " and I am not giving out any money either incase this deal goes sour. I would have to pay back all the money." He also said, "You don't have anything in writing do you? So I don't owe you anything."

He says that he made the two payments but Flagstar is asking me for it. Plus he will not take any of my calls. When I call his mortgage company they tell me to talk to thier lawyer. Yet they will not give me a name or number for them.

The house didn't have a city inspection done or any inspections done. Which is required in the City of Detroit. The discription that is given of the house is totally wrong. The house is a 4 bedroom 2 family. Not a 3 bedroom bungalow as the appraisal report says.

It will cost well over $70,000 to get the house up to code. On top of the mortgage that he got me knowing that I filed bankruptcy 2 years ago and can't do it again. If he could do this to me and Marcus, who was his friend for 16 years, I am positive that he would do it to anyone.

I had no idea that this whole thing was illegal or that he was coning me. This was brought to my attendtion by Michelle, whom Clinton told to shut her f*ing mouth about this or I could get in trouble for fraud. With that she contacted some attorneys that told her to report this to the Attorney General's office.

I have sent pictures of the house and a copy of the Appraisal report to Department of Labor & Economic Growth Bureau of Commercial Services Enforcement Division in Lansing.
