I received a call from some foreign (west indian, maybe) guy claiming that i have a payday loan that was not paid and that now the company that he represents (sonic cash net) will be pressing charges against me.
I tried to get attorney, Scott Miller, to give me addtional information but he kept coming up with excuses as to why he could not. I said some not so nice things and hung up. He then call the office where i work (I'm the one who usually answers the phone) and proceeded to tell "my employer" that I was involved in criminal activity and that they needed to check employee backgrounds. They also asked for the company fax number and other information which i stated i could not release to him.
When i called this same number back 540-352-4449 a woman answered the phone and claimed that her name was Sandra Joe (again heavy accent). She basically repeated what the other guy had said and when i told her that i was going to sue her company for harassment she hung up on me.
A little while later, i called back pretending to be my attorney. When i told sandra that I needed the file pertaining to the case she gave me some excuse about not having the authorization to send out that information. She claimed that someone would have to call and verify and then the info could be faxed.
At the time of this report, I have been waiting 2 hours on a call or fax and guess what... Nothing.
