Preapproved $15,000 credit. Required a $43 payment which I sent in by check. I receive a catalog with $15,000 credit to order merchandise. This is the only way that I could use the card. I reviewed the solicitation and nowhere does it state that I would be limited to ordering from a catalog. I phoned the company and insisted on a refund. They agreed upon return of all materials. That was 2 months ago. I returned the card, catalog, etc. Certified mail.
Now, I cannot contact the company.
They want the first 4 digits of my account number in order to talk to anyone and the number from my account comes back as invalid.
Is there a government agency that would takke this company to task on deceptive solicitation?
