I received an ad from TriStar Publications. The ad claimed that once I sent the company $15.00 for a start-up package, they would guarantee that I would be earning $800 a week by stuffing envelopes for them. The ad further states that they "are currently in greater need of more envelope stuffers than ever before" and that "as soon as [they] had enough home workers in [their] program they would withdraw [their] offer".
The company was so sure that I would make this amount of money each week that they offered to triple my money back if I did not.
Along with the ad came a letter written and signed by Nancy Tascalli. She writes a personal testimonial describing how she has been making a good living by stuffing envelopes for the company. She even encloses photocopies of the checks that she has received from them.
When I received the start-up kit and read it through, I was totally upset and felt very swindled. This company never had the intention of hiring me to stuff envelopes for them.instead, they described a scheme of how to purchase names and addresses from companies and basically mail these innocent people and rip them off by conning them to send you money in exchange for useless reports.
This is FALSE ADVERTIZING and a huge RIPOFF scheme!
As to their triple money back guarantee, the company backs out of their promise by saying that I have to try the scheme for one month and provide proof to them that I have tried it before they reimburse a penny.
I feel so ripped off and so irate at this company and this "Nancy" lady that I want to warn people out there to not fall for this scheme. And to those people who ARE working the con games on other people by mail or phone or internet, SHAME ON YOU! Where is your dignity and compassion???
