WealthLane contacted us several times in April stating they were a Grant writing company which worked with foundations and large companies to find smaller businesses to invest in.in exchange for the investment, the investors were able to take larger tax deductions. WealthLane sent a binder with a professional quality New Customer Welcome Packet. They faxed and emailed information for us to complete about our business. We were told that after an initial investment for them writing the Business Plan, no other investment would be required until we received the grant. They even provided a customer reference, which we contacted. After several weeks we were notified that we were approved for a grant through a non profit organization which required a "market research". If we decided to go with this group, we would have to pay for the market research and they would waive all other cost. Kennendy Edowment was the nonprofit organization approving the grant. After questioning the lack of finding any information on Kennedy Endowment, Wealth Lane stopped returning phone calls and answering emails. The phone numbers are disconnected and a Majic Jack recording is all you get when dialing the numbers. 302-357-9120 or 866-571-0617 I checked with the Nevada BBB and there were no red flags. Now they have $4000 of our money and can not be located. We are a very small business struggling to keep our doors open.
