It was tax time and I was innocently watching the news. 2 local channels had a represenative from NADN on offering a free tax tip booklet to the first 30 callers. I stupidly did so, AGGGGHHHH. I checked with the local BBB. No listing, not thinking the complaints would be with Nevada. The first phone call cost me $ 1,412.95 for what I thought was their service. The second phone call was going to cost me $3,000 for an internet mall. I gave them access to my credit card for the first amount and access to my checking account for the second purchase. What was I thinking! I know better than that. I did not feel comfortable with what I had done. I checked the internet and found this website. I WISH I had found this fist! I have contacted the local news who represented this as a legite company. I was interviewed by one and on as a comsumer alert. I have cancelled my checking and my visa. Now I am trying to get my money back. Has anyone sucessfully gotten their money back? If so HOW? I have followed their cancellation requirements by fax, certified letter and return receipt confirmation. I did not want them to say they did not receive it. HELP! Anyone! Cindy lancaster, Ohio
