The offer to check my credit score from 3 different places free, got me to bite and i had them check.
They said it was all free at the time and that if i checked more then 1x a year it would cost for the next time.
I bit as I wanted to see what it was at this time. They were all accurate. The companies they checked were experian, equifax, and I can't remember the 3rd one.
I did have to give my debit card number and parts of my ss#. I may of been the complete SS#. I can't remember. I did not want any other offer they gave me and did not want my credit report to be monitered.
As far as I can remember that was about all they asked. I feel so stupid that I fell for that. Especially without checking it out. I am going to also report them to Better Business Bureau in my state.
I am disabled and live on a fixed income and sure can't afford to have them charging my account every month. I am going to cancel my debit card and if necessary will open new checking account.
