Banks should not be allowed to take bank fees from social security checks, worker's compensation checks, SSI, Veterans pensions, etc. My family has lost thousands of dollars through bogus debit fees. Millions upon millions of dollars are taken every month from the citizens of the United States who can least afford it. A bank is a business like any other (as we have daily proof with the bailout funds) and they are a creditor. Funds from these checks are exempt and a bank should not have the right to take any part of these checks. What's more, what has already been taken needs to be refunded to those who were the victims of this. I'm looking for a law firm who is willing to take this on or show me how. Seems to me this is a Supreme Court issue.
