I was contacted by "People's First" for a credit card. It sounded like a great offer so I jumped at it. Then AFTER I sent in my 49 dollar fee, like most credit card companies I looked a little closer and found no real address for the company and also no phone number at all.
I sent payment by money order so I called the tracking number and found out this so called company cashed it, but I never received a credit card and came to find out the better business bureau has never heard of them and they are no where to be found online.
About 3 months later I got the same offer from the same company so I took it and mailed the offer back with a note saying I was on to their game and they weren't getting any more of my money. They stopped sending them to me untill today when my new husband and I received one.
It had te same green spirally border around it, no number, no address, same PO Box and same signature on the bottom, "Robert Stevens" "Approval Department" the only difference was the name of the company had become "Consumer First". I hope these jerks get caught so no one else gets ripped off.
