My business was contacted by Commercial Investigations, Inc. Stating they were doing an investigation on my company and needed to speak to the owner. I told the caller, Adam Scope, to go ahead I could answer his questions.
He started his sales script about collecting outstanding debt and soon I realized he was not investigating my company but was trying to get customer information. After questioning him about his company he was unable to answer specific questions and in fact had to put the phone down to simply provide me with a phone number and company address. I got the number listed above from the caller ID since the number he gave me was bogus.
Further search of this company led me to this website where I found complaints.
I was verbally insulted by the caller because he was upset by my repeated questions about his company.
Reseach on the company reveals that they appear to be fraudulant.
