I set up a merchant account for my website with Instabill. I paid them a one time $499.00 set-up fee.
Our arrangement was as that I would be paid out monthly and that a $50.00 would be deducted each month for maintaining my account.
When I tried to get my first payment I was told that I can only get paid after I had $2000.00 in my account. This was not in our agreement.
When I did not receive my statements from them I sent them an email. They said they did not know who I was. When they finally "found" me they told me that there is also a weekly statement fee of $50.00. Keep in mind that I never received weekly statements and that this was not in our contract. I told them I was not in agreement and that I want to close my account and can I please be paid.
They sent me a final bill and told me I own them money. I am busy to take them to small claims court in New Hampshire. If anyone else has been ripped off by Instabill please post a comment.
