I purchased a "green dot" pre-paid master card @ my local rite-aide store & when i attempted to activate it i was told that th activation #printed on the temp card is invalid. I called gree dot customer service, i spoke with gunther. They promised me that the issue would be resolved within 1 hour and that they would call me back, they never called me so i called them again. I asked to speak to gunther. He was unavailable, what a surprise! I spoke to a supervisor as i could not understand the person i spoke to when i called them back because of his accent. I could'nt understand the supervisor either, his accent was just as bad. I believe it was the same person i had already tried to talk to. Again i was promised that the issue would be resolved & that they would call me back. This all began @ 4:53 P.M. Mst it is now 3:29 A.M. Mst i still have not heard from them.
I tried to return the worthless card to the rite-aide i purchased it from without success, they did call green dot though, it did'nt do any good. So am i out the $70.00 plus $9.95 i had paid for activation & available funds? I am on a very fixed income. (soc. Sec. Disability) i can not afford to lose the money, what can i do?
